What's there to know about any of this ?? Van Dijk was injured little by little the system began cracking people started doing things they weren't acustomed to and chemistry took a nose dive. Thankfully they haven't incurred more injuries. Wenger was the opposite of Klopp-he may not have won a C1 but he kept his train running for years with very few injuries...

Agreed. City played last season without their main centre backs. Liverpool ended up winning the league by double figures. Liverpool are playing this season without their main 4 CB options VVD, Gomez, Matip and now Fabinho. Once we can get Hendo back in midfield and Jota back on the bench we’ll be ok. Atm we have 0 goals on the bench

This is getting ridiculous now. Ripple effect. VVD is essential for Liverpool success, Fabinho is needed in CDM, Henderson is needed as an 8, Trent and Robbo need a solid defense to get into the positions the team needs. Has everyone forgot how football works? Liverpool don't need to 'turn things around'. they needed to be luckier. They weren't. Just because pundits are bored of these facts and need to make a story to cash your check, it doesn't change that this is the truth. There is no discussion and i'm baffled that y'all are still spending so much energy on it. The only true Liverpool failure this season was the Villa game. One match. Give it a rest.

I'm not a Liverpool supporter, but I like Klopp a lot and I think he has done wonderful things for LFC. They will finish strongly this season and imagine what they will be like when the fans are back. I'm sure he doesn't give a toss about the opinions of anyone from outside the club. Quite simply he comes across as a wonderful human being who will (unfortunately for me) bring a lot more success to one of the best clubs in the world. The board should give him everything he desires!

We’ve been insane for 2 years playing the way we do. A decline was going to happen at some point. Going into the season with a pandemic, season ending injuries to our main 2 CB’s and also matip not able to stay fit. Youth in Defence with no experience and utilising our best ball winning midfielders to cover at CB will obviously be a concern. Hope a top 4 finish is the conclusion and #7

A manager getting a little emotional even to the point of looking stupid defending his players in front of the press is not a bad thing to the players.
After the Spurs lost to Liverpool in the first match of the season, did any of the players think the worst of Mourinho for his "the best team lost" comment? José was sending a message to the dressing room, that they gave 100% so they were beyond criticism in his eyes, even if they lost the match.
